Hellcat team slated to be only militarized cat girl miniatures on the market?

Having looked around the Internet a bit, there is basically no support for the idea of militarized monster girls of any kind.
The Hellcats team, having been armed with assault rifles, are, as far as I am aware, the only entry into this very niche category.

So thank you, CMON, for making this bold leap into a new genre of miniatures, even if it's only an afterthought.

The militarized monster girls is a VERY VERY niche market/category. There's a few images floating around of militarized monster girls.

I can see it becoming much much more popular now.

Yeah, I really like the army theme they have going on here. Interested in seeing what other real world themes mixed with fantasy tropes teams they can come up in the future for expansion teams.

I agree. I think though, the expansion teams will only be a handful and instead focus on expanding the current teams.

As for the fantasy and real world trope amalgamations... I thought the Trolls were pretty tongue-in-cheek. Redneck Trolls? Who would've thought.

I'm hoping that the plastic the teams come in will be hard enough to hold detail, but soft enough to cut into for limb repositioning and modification.

The sedition wars sprueless plastic is a huge pain to work with, and I'm desperately hoping it won't be that. ...Basically I'm hoping it will be anything but that.

Now just have to gather up all the patience we can muster and wait for 2014! I am excited to try out the hellcats, as well as just about every other team.

How did you manage to cut through it? With a miniature saw?

The best luck I had was with sprue nippers, followed by some exhaustive cleanup with a fresh hobby knife. Honestly, about halfway through the biohazard box, I gave up on getting the strain clean. The vanguard aren't looking so great either.
