Alright... so I\'ve been trying to paint a blueish skin tone and I seem to be failing miserably at it.

Anyone have any ideas for how to achieve the skin tone seen in this picture using Citadel paints?

My undying gratitude to anyone who comes up with a good way of achieving that color!

Base shadow grey, working up through space wolves grey. There\'s a bit more blue in those minis than in the paints, so perhaps a stock of blue water, 1:80 blue ink and water, would help to intensify the blue a little.

I did a woodelf army in this color. Shadow gray was the base and high light with SG and white. Black and SG for the shading. I dont have pics right now but I will post one when I get it.

I was kind of thinking along the lines of you guys. I tried some practice runs with shadow grey, but it seemed a little too pale to me. I\'ll have to give it another run. And if you can get the pictures Ogrebane, I\'d love to see them!

This is a WIP of some woodelves. They are darker now they are finished. I used the grey with a touch of black as a wash to darken them up.

This was basically my first thought, I would suggests shading your shadow grey with mix of enchanted blue, shadow grey and a touch of black. Enchanted blue is a very versitile color I\'ve found for mixing lighter or darker.

i\'m guessing shadow grey, space wolf grey, and some purple ink glazes and possibly a very thin green one too.

I posted here regarding the colours I used - http://forums.privateerpress.com/index.php?showtopic=62720&hl=legion

The web piccie makes the skin look more blue than it really is.
