Gymnastic Giant

Well here is a Giant I converted and painted a good few months back for a Giant Olympics event at work. This is as far as I got before the deadline for the comp. I did intend to add lots more freehand on the clothes, a dude hanging from the chain and all sorts of other details later, but I can\'t get myself motivated to paint now. I am completely burnt out and haven\'t picked up a brush in months and months...

Here is the votey link and I\'ve stuck up a picture of him in green form here too.

I saw this one in real life at the staff convention (it\'s not an away day! ;) ) and again say that it\'s really good!

The others I saw that day were very good as well, lot\'s of unique creations!:)

Ranma 1/2 is quality stuff. I think that the tea ceremony combat was my favourite.

Dark Seraphim, if you have to ask then I don\'t know if I\'ll be able to explain it to you!

Right, now I\'m off to try and work out who Skrit is. Way too many people at the conference (definately not an away day) to have any real idea who the dickins it is though!

Lol, the amounts of alcohol consumed are still running rampant through my blood!lol

Hmmm, a hint. I painted (but it wasn\'t finished!) a Death Guard Lord.;)

Painting wise he came in second to the entry by the department that organised the competition... hmmm, a little bit of a suspect result there!;)

In the actual events Vanessa (the name my boss decided was most suitable) didn\'t fare so well. Hurdling was going well until we managed to loose all of our wounds trying to get past one of the last jumps and things just got worse from there. We were beaten to a pulp in the boxing by Angry Agassi (a tennis playing giant), Skating was just as bad with Sweaty Dave winning, Giant tossing (ooh er missus) was also no good (I think that the terrifyingly named Bigus Dickus took that one) and in the last event - Cow Catching - we were doing well until we ate one farmyard animal too many and chundered all over.

It was a good bit of fun though and drew many an interested and somewhat confused spectator on the Fridays we played in Bugmans.
