Hello folks,

I am looking for input on basing options and general critiques.

Ok Ok Ok... I get the point. After doing a little reading on photos & hitting the model with some dullcoat (which I NEVER use, but looks like I should, this is what he looks like. Thanks for the input guys, it really does help to hear from your peers.

Thanks

Not bad at all. Needs a coat of dullcote as its somewhat shiny. I assume you are looking for painting and conversion critiques here. As faras the conversion since he is a grey knight, he needs the chest chamber for his liber daemonicum. Also, he is not bearing any personal heraldry or Inquisition markings. As faras the painting goes its looking good. I would like to see it after dullcoting and a few more angles.

Liber daemonicum\'s are for girls!

Don\'t mind me...I\'m just bored and padding the post count, because...I dunno.

I suppose I could be productive. I\'d also like to see some different angles and if possible, some brighter pictures. Even playing around with the brightness/contrast etc in Photoshop still has some hard to see details. Aaaaannnnyway, I like the gritty feel of the armour and that embroidery on the tabard/cloak is pretty snazzy too, IMO.

looking good man, can\'t wait to see what you do with the freehand. The cape embroidery (sp?) looks nice. It\'s pretty cool considering a week ago this guy was multiple shades of blue and white.

As for the base, his body position looks to me like he is walking up hill, so some urban or deamonic rubble at a slope would be cool. Like he\'s cresting a hill looking for his next victim of righteousness.

looking pretty good.. agree on the eyes especially his right one....
better pics would help..als some kind of inquisition heraldry and seals lots of seals...

As for basing maybe a few dismembered cultists on the ground or even daemons (even though they technically dissappear) would seem suiting for him.. I find Lysander a nice model to work with and he fits well in a kind of front line wading through things kind of setting....
