Kinda depends on what he is for. If he is to be bounced around a game table - not much more. couple of good coats of matt varnish.

Want to really show off? Give him a dark wash to bring out the depth of the armor. I only see blacklining around the boots. A bit more would help. Going all out? glowing eyes ala the tutorial in the articles section.

In my lowly position I do not know how much I may help but here goes:)
Is it possible to do a wash over the metal so it is not so shiny?
check this out it is by a regular here and I found it very helpful

Just put some black ink washes on the silver and brown ink washes on the gold. Just remember to thin them out and use it in the crevaces.
