Green Stuff Tips \'n\' Tricks

Well, I\'ve painted for a while but I took my first foray into converting this evening. I greenstuffed some appropriate icons onto a stripped down SOB immolator that I plan to use as a Daemonhunters vehicle. It turned out alright, but not great. You guys have any tips on working with green stuff? I found it fairly annoying to work with.:(

Also, don\'t be afraid to let it \'set\' for about twenty minutes. That way, it\'s easier to work with.

That\'s according to Tammy Haye anyway...:D

Take your time

don\'t rush it! Do one peice, then let it set, then go back to do the next peice. That way you\'re less likely to much up what you just sculpted. Also, plan ahead the layers. ie: do the shirt before the jacket, etc.

Work the smallest sections as possible, that you can.
Work from the inside out as well, that is the furthest away from the viewer, to the closest. You\'ll have less chance of damaging what you\'ve already done.
