Grail Knight Standard Bearer WIP

This is my Grail Knight Standard Bearer.

The flag is freehand detailed, I tried to do vine work on the back, but I\'m not overly happy with it.

The vinework on the cloak and the front of the horse\'s barding is also freehanded.

Looking for some advise on how to finish this mini up.

For the vines heres a link (You\'ll need to scroll down a bit as it\'s the third tutorial)

For the other side you should try the same technique. The rest of the mini looks kind of rough and you should practice blending a bit more and are those nmm I see. I personally think that you should paint with metallics for now as nmm are very hard to make look good if you don\'t have a good understanding of blending and contrast. Also don\'t do too complicated freehands as your level of painting isn\'t very high yet. Better learn the basics first.

Here is another LINK to help you with the nmm if you still want to use this technique although I still think TMM is better for your level.

Your welcome, and for the blending you can wet blend, but that is quite hard to get the hang of, or you can layer by mixing paint, or you can do what I have learned from the great automaton: \"JUICING\"
Hope this helps.
PS: Are you french?
