Boring and uninspiring? No way, these guys are fresh and dynamic! Anyways, you guys should check out Warseer, they\'ve had the info and pics of these guys for a month.

They are as about as expensive as =][= figures and if they share the same quality I am sold. Besides compared to other companies thye price is not bad when you figure they are a larger scale.

Are you sure they are much larger than standard GW figures. If they are this seems a rather odd thing to say in the blurb:

If I have understood things correctly they are slightly bigger than the ordinary WH minis, but not so much that they couldn\'t be used in an army.
As to the sculpts, they aren\'t ugly or anything, but they are just not that special IMO. There\'s too much wrong with them to be worth that price. The only one with some \"real\" sense of movement is Felix; the others mostly look awkward (as DFD pointed out, weird poses) or, in the case of Max, static. Compared to what other companies do they are just not that great.
As to the sculpts, they aren\'t ugly or anything, but they are just not that special IMO. There\'s too much wrong with them to be worth that price. Well for one they are way too expensive, as they run about $100 US. And secondly the sculpts are not all that inspiring for that sum. I have no problem spending $20 US on a figure, but it damn well better be inspiring.
Gotrek looks like he is falling off a rock. Almost like something out of a Saturday morning cartoon.
Felix may be the most dynamic sculpt of the lot.
Snorri is an okay sculpt, but is he doing a piroet?
Max has one weird looking chest and the pose is so 1985.
Ulrika is she levitating? And is that her hair or is it fur on her cloak?

In an attempt to duck out on the family durring the 4th, I went to my local Battlebunker. They had this figures on display behind the counter. After checking them out I must say ehhh.
First the figures are only slightly bigger. Thye say 48mm scale. To be honest they are about 32mm scale about the size of the newer M. Gruber (son) Reaper Miniatures.
The prices American are about 17-20. So they are a tad more expensive then most GW command models. The quality of the detail is about the tip top you would expect from GW.
They are nice but I am going to pass.
