Hey,

This is my 3rd submission to CMON. I have been painting for around 1 year now but have only completed like 3 minis! (job pfft!)

I posted him in the WIP section, and it was pointed out that his tone is a little dark and more contrast is required.

I would have spent more time touching him up, but due to time contstraints and the mountain of models i have to paint - i decided to practice the improvements ppl suggested on my next model

I hope you like him.

This is pretty damn solid for only your third mini ever painted.

I love the way the eye pops, and just feel you need to add a bit more highlight to the darker areas.

Nicely done, hope to see more!

As I\'ve said to you already chief I think you\'ve done a cracking job...
I agree with Jim just bring up the highlights here and there on a few key points will make a big difference..

but overall great job....

Thanks for the feedback guys.

I am definatly going to try and brighten up my highlights quite a lot in my next model.

I might come back to him and touch him up in time... but i have sooo many models to paint its not funny! Its almost off putting Everytime i see a model i like i buy it.. it goes on top of teh pile and its growing and growing and growing! Damn this addiction :redface:

Welcome to the party, Wilks. =P

I alternate between horrified and catastrophically relieved that I gave minis, paints, terrain, books \'n\' all away a few years ago. At the time, I didn\'t think I\'d ever have time for this hobby again... why keep all my minis and gear around.

Lo and behold, the pewter pile is growing again.

Speaking of which, CMoN Shop told me yesterday that X\'stacy was on her way. One more for the daunting pile! =)
