I am in the middle of painting my nids up , my most recent problem is my current bottle of glaze medium Vallejo 72069 is about empty. I cannot find a new bottle and i need a substitute, i do have a large bottle of liquitex matte medium, will this do the same or at least a comparable job to the glaze medium. In the interest of the use, i use the glaze medium to thin my paints and washes to the proper consistency to paint. I thank anyone in advance that can assist here.

Try it and see! Best way to find out ;)

Glazing mediums are typically a blend of acrylic medium and retarder to slow drying (making glazing easier because it gives you more time to push the paint around) plus one or two other additives. No idea if the Vallejo one is exactly like this but the Liquitex probably won't be quite alike, however it might do well enough to let you continue painting.

If you find it's not working right my guess in advance is that it'll be the drying time most of all, but if you're having flow issues then just a smidge of dishwashing liquid will help.
