Advance Order — Vampire Counts Varghulf
Within every Vampire lurks a predatory creature, driven to feed on blood time and again. There are a few Vampires who embrace their thirst, who allow the bestial hunter within to take over. These are the Varghulfs - blood-mad killers that exist only to feed. This metal box set contains 1 Varghulf.

* Price: £9999.00
* Release: 22/3/2008
* Item Type: Boxed Set
* Part Code: 99110207166

Think its over priced at £9999.00 I know metal is getting harder to come by but god did not know it was that bad.

I agree with uber, for that price i want it to wash the dishes, clean the house, destroy armies in turn one and drive me around in a bentley that comes with it.

GW are funny, and i doubt they will notice the typo

There\'s a few other problems with their UK site today as well, complete absence of the generic space marine section in the 40k shop for example, its the beginning of the end for GW, no more generic space marines, the end is nigh:D

So that\'s what the changes are to 40k for the 5th edition. No more generic marines.

As for that rather expensive model, they don\'t say what metal it\'s made from. Maybe it\'s made from Platinum.

Uh oh with no generic marines thats GW\'s market gone, what army will all he pre-teens choose and buy in vast quantities

oh my... they really need a new editor or something!
in the codexes there are some errors, in the dark angels one they repeat a whole paragraph, and in the new recent orks, in the description about the wrecing ball it says something like \"may use not use if it has moved\"
:flame:lol you just gotta laugh

I guess that is what happens when you get the stuff printed cheaply in China or other such places :)

It always seems a little safer to stick with fantasy battles, the pre-teens playing 40k seem to have (parents) with limitless pockets, i remember when i was a little younger and was in the local GW regularly there was a lad a few years younger than me with a large blood angels army as well as a IG tank company including forgeworld baneblade, only downer was his models were atrociously painted and the majority weren\'t based.

I wish all gamers at least took some pride in what there models looked like (the baneblade looked like the paint had been poured out of the pot and on it)

Given the size of the tank, he probably did.

Do I need to go through and make a list of all the spelling mistakes and grammatical errors in the space marine codex, the dark angels codex, the imperial armour 2, and the imperial armour update Ive got.

Cause they are all terrible, its nearly one mistake a page.

Which is saying something if I notice it, cauce I skim read very fast, and tend to overlook things like that.

I got me a plan. I\'m buying all the spearhead boxsets and selling the Varghulfs on ebay for 5999.00 each. A real bargin. Place your orders now! lol

The web designers obviously don\'t know the prices of stuff as it\'s not their job to fill that bit in. Standard practice for them as far as I\'m aware is to set the price at 9999.00 of whatever currency when they produce the page. Normally if it hasn\'t been sorted out for the release by a member of the sales team it\'s usually picked up by a member of the mail order team and rectified as soon as someone attempts to buy one. In this case I\'m thinking there\'s some kind of problem with this particular item and rather than taking the page down and having a load of broken links I\'m betting they left the it priced like that thinking that if someone is numpty enough to try and buy one they deserve to pay that much.

Dunno where you got the thing about the wrecking ball from. It can only not use it if it\'s moved more than 12\". I have to say that I\'ve hardly found any mistakes in my copy of both the Ork and DA codices and I\'m usually quite good at picking them up as I\'ve done a bit of proofreading in my time. Maybe you have a different printing to mine?

edit: lol you are right though the smurf link has disappeared from the sidebar in the online store. GW online must be having a bad day.
