Granddad!
What do you think of this then?

the pic doesn't do much for me, the mini might be better irl tho

hmmmm.... slightly more of a miss than a hit I think. The arms look out of proportion (unless it's a bit of foreshortening in the pic). Actually, I can't make out what's going on with the torso at all.... I reckon a back-shot is in order.

I like it a lot, different then anything else they have in the GW range now which is nice. if i

could get it and paint it now I could. very interesting, looks kinda like a beastmen and the

robes because he is a Sorc will be really fun to do some crazy color blending :)

Not a fan of that. Looks ruddy awful to me!

As I said elsewhere, considering current state of affairs in miniature sculpting this mini is a giant leap ... backwards... like about 10 years ago if not more. Very little details, rather crude robe, strange pretty static pose. In addition to all above.. Chaos? No seriously, again chaos? Clearly, GW gaming systems are so small and underdeveloped that out of 20+ races we cannot possibly chose anything but chaos... pretty sad.

PS. Is cutting finger a new ritual to become a chaos adept? Or is it new "oh incredibly so useful " mutation?

A bit strange but I like it. The posture is quite unusual and there are some details that I don't like, the tentacles or the eye on the hand. But I think it can be quite much funny to paint it.

I like it. I think hte paint job might be what is taking away from it.There are several GW miniatures that that look horrible in a photo but are pretty cool in real life.

I agee!

About the mini: I'm not sure what it is, but it seems strange to me (not just because of the tentacles and an eye growing out of his hand :D ) . I don'T like it

I rather like this one too but I certainly think it would have been better with a different colour scheme. The horns on the head look very reminiscent of the Tzeentch rune so I'd paint his little whispy beard like fire and carry the theme over to the robes etc. I can just see him mounted on a disc... which is probably where mine will end up.

I don't dislike it other than the fact that it's another Chaos special character - in the past year there has been 2 Chaos GD mini's and the Harry the Hammer special. I actually think that it looks more like a Beastman shaman than a run of the mill human sorcerer :)

FRugly... The glove + ring reminds me of the merman and barnacleboy from spongebob. Where they bash their rings.

TBH it is a little meh but i do like thats its not the norm and i would guess it would be kind of chaos and beastman so there might be that there.

It´s funny - I can see where it´s wrong, bad and subpar compared to most of the stuff done today.

....But I still really like it!

Cake or Death?
I think its the paint job that is driving my ho-hum response. It hides the detail on the robes, and I can't understand why the horns are the exact same color. And then the leather is quite close to the robes' color...

I'm not going to any Games Day anytime soon, but I'd have to see it bare metal, or differently painted, before being convinced not to sell it off online.
