Thanks for all your comments on the other thread. If I knew how to change the first post & pictures etc I would have done this on there, but here it is finished:

Crackin\' Job!

Often the bigger the model, the harder it is to \'hide\' any mistakes and after much scrutiny it still looks superb.

Duly voted and hope you got suitably rewarded for your time :D

Great job on such a large involved mini. Awesome, EXCEPT, you promised us you\'d fix the hole in his knee from photoshopping the background (and a little on the top of his wing under the axe). I voted assuming you\'re going to fix those things for us :D

I tried, but every time I used the magic wand it kept cutting the same chunks out. So I went for extra pics instead to show that the holes aren\'t really there :D

A suitably edited pic can be seen here but I didn\'t want to submit an edited pic

One thing you can do, it once you have the magic wand to select the background, if you have it cutting into your mini, zoom in real close, and using a laso tool, hold down the ALT key, then whatever you laso will subtract from the selection. So you can go back through and deselect what the magic wand selected too much of.

Glad to help! :)

Just want to see your minis, which are obviously done to a high standard with a lot of care, the best chance to shine here!

Thanks Tom. I paint between customers, seeing as most people haven\'t been paid yet for January that\'s given me quite a bit of time lately.

The other thing is I just ignore my paperwork lol

Superb job, but the smaller pics have lost some of the detail, maybe submit a larger pic of just one view?

I thought about that but wouldn\'t it be like cheating to have the multiple views on one submission & the same model (albeit a larger pic) on another one?

No.

People get annoyed of seeing millions of the same thing, but with such a large mini a series of close-ups as a second post is perfectly acceptable.

Got a close up for you, successfully photoshopped thanks to EricJ\'s tips :D

If you\'re feeling really kind and generous, there\'s a link for votes/comments at the bottom of the pic.

Thanks for comments etc so far, this one has now put me one away from the top 500, something I\'ve been working on for ages :bouncy::bouncy::bouncy:

And here\'s the link : this one

I like it! Have to agree with most of what EricJ said as well though.

Overall, better pictures and background would suit you well here I believe, make it a bit less \'messy\'.
