Link to Episode 5- Painting Face

Here is Episode Five of the instructional videos by TAB Studio - Tracy Brady
This video is about painting a miniatures face.

Information on flesh tones and how to follow up with ink washes, hints on painting lips and teeth.

A continuing video saga of painting the 35mm pewter gaming miniature from Anima Tactics named Faust Orbatos, techniques and handy information, for the miniature painter.

I thank you for being so understanding on the delay of these bi-weekly offerings and I hope to remain on schedule in the future. They turned me in to a Newt, but I got better....
I special thanks to Liz for letting people know and all the email well wishers that helped by keeping me motivated.

We are holding random drawings on our forum for those interested to repay your patience and get some feedback or answer questions on the videos, Info is in the video:cool:
Cheers

I just watched all your videos and they are great! I think I haven´t learned this much good tips in such a short time since Jakob Nielsens workshop last summer. I´d say this face painting episode was the best so far and well worth the waiting. Nice to hear that you are doing better and hope to see more videos soon.

By the way, would it be possible to get bigger photos of the miniature? The ones at the end of the video were quite good but I´d love to take a closer look.

Cheers.

It\'s funny if you look at my Info page it was Jakob that inspired me to do this, his old video is how I learned to hold my hands steady, there was no audio but just that quick visual helped so much. I have a link to that video on the Info page also if you are curious
Edit Needed to give you a link Flicker Link

Oh my ....
so wrong but I am glad you like the series.

If I were a great painter I would not have time for this, I\'d be busy painting 200-300 dollar sale minis for ebay with companies throwing minis at my feet. Damn that sounds like it would be great! Maybe

Really, I just hope it helps those starting, or visual learners (like me) I know thin your paints gets tossed around so much and when I began If I could have seen what thin really was I would have saved time and frustration.

I signed up for an account just now after I watched all of your videos, JUST so that I could say how awesome you are for doing these.

I painted miniatures (horribly) years ago when I was a teenager, and for some reason lately I\'ve got the itch to try my hand at it again... I\'m hoping for better results now that I\'m older, and much more patient, and I have to say that your videos are going to help me out a great deal!
