looks good but somethings missing.
not sure but things seem to flat. i would add some slimy gribble bits and color to make it pop.
the lens also looks undone in the 1st picture. gives off a good creepy vibe but can be pushed higher to look better

Cheers! The flash is killing the lens, can take some detailed pictures of it if you want.

I've been thinking of slime but I dunno, I'm quite pleased witht he dull effect.

figured about the lenses.
if i had to say i wont go overboard with the wet effect but i might put in the deep crevasses of the mini.\
i think you did well to stay away from the norm extra gooey look
maybe seeing a sand base or something similar would set off the effect

The painting is great; clean, good blends, and the contrast is fine for a mini of this nature....BUT, I think you're lacKing a focal point.

Yeah, been thinking the same lately when I've looked at the mini. Maybe in the deep purple areas of the flesh?

Yeah, it's maybe quite dull but it's a commission and you paint for the money you get I'm afraid. Got two more blight drones so maybe I can do some stuff better next time!

oh, i think its very good; superior for a commission, really. i dont think its dull, its just missing something to engage viewer. it could just use something to draw the eye, like a bright splash of color in a central area (the lenses would be ideal). as is the eyes tend to wander over the model, without anything to really fixate on .
perhaps a red lens instead of black? even if it was just the smaller one it would work.
