hi, my first post over here, hope I made it in the right forum.
here is the almost finished model:

ot 100% done yet, need some highlights on the armour and really need tips on to make a good base for it (think I want it to be in a swamp or something like that but other ideas are wellcome to), I suck on making good bases so would be nice with some tips and maybe a short tutorial on how to make one...
if you think there is some other stuff that you think I shall to be fixed to let me know

Very nice, I agree that the nmm looks good, just needs a little more highlighting. The scales look great. As for a terrain for your base, I wouldn\'t personally choose a swamp. Swamps are so dirty, and such a clean paintjob wouldn\'t fit. Terrain bases that I think would work well would be desert, tall grass (though it would be a shame to hide some of that excellent scale definition behind tall grass,) a rocky terrain would work well, as would a plain stone floor. Lots of options, now the hard part is to decide!

oki, thanks for the ideas, my first thought was the desert base, but think the color will maybe not match that well. Think I will go for the stone floor, with maybe some monoments on it,think only stone froor would be abit emty becouse the base is so big

Pretty nice, probably a solid 7 ignoring the base. I\'m not too keen on the dark shading between the segments on his underside. How about softening them up with a glaze of the base colour?

Remember, not all deserts are plain yellowy-sand :p

You could have an iron-stained red like the Sahara, or practically any other colour.
