Hello everyone,

I ve been a member here for quite a while, some people might know me, but many of you might not heh. Anyways, I ve been painting for about 8 years playing/painting mainly Warhammer 40k and fantasy, and Lord of the Rings miniatures from GW in most of that time.

And I have been lurking on CMON\'s forum and galleries for a while. So I decided to start posting again after wiping my old gallery of mini\'s. But so far, not a lot of stuff. Just this Farseer is just about finished and already posted in my gallery a few days ago.

Now to the mini:

Was fun to paint, and with a little head swap made her look different yet still noticeable on the table top. Spent around 10-12 hours or so and attempted a lot of freehand and stuff on it.

Well, tell me what you all think.

Thanks!

Really nice colourscheme and a good effective looking base. What did you use for snow? i have been working on a high elf army and still havent found a too effective snow method tbh, so far snow scatter/pva/water mix has been best.

Freak- thanks :)

Cleezy - The snow was GW\'s snow flock + PVA mixed into a paste. Then just pressed and pushed it around on the base then a a bit of the flock again over the paste. Then set off to dry.

The hood works really well with the figure and the base... it\'s like she needs to keep her head warm against the cold wind. The freehand is good but could probably be a bit sharper and the red could do with a bit more contrast. Otherwise nicely done and welcome back.
