First commissioned piece Forge World Dreadnought

This is my first "centerpiece" mini commission for a local table=top gamer. I'm primarily an airbrush artist and automotive model builder working on larger projects, so this was a first for me and a new learning curve dealing with Citadel paints. I'm quickly getting in to the figure painting genre of modeling and REALLY enjoying and appreciating the superb work of others. I'm self-educating as I go. Not the best pictures as the customer wanted the piece left unassembled to magnetize the arms etc. so these were sent to me by him afterward. The base was airbrushed to give the glowing lava effect per customer request. Constructive criticism is welcome.

Very nice work on the base effects! It looks like your layers of colors are very smooth on the model (no doubt a product of your extensive airbrush work). I'd say the next step would be to apply some of the same techniques you use airbrushing at a smaller scale to achieve some more gradiation and shading on the armor panels which (in these pics at least) are looking a little flat. Definitely a stellar effort here. Looking forward to seeing more from you!
