Final Fantasy Crisis Core

Has anyone played this? I got it last weekend and i have been playing it this week while staying in the hotel away from home. It has to be one of the most enjoyable games i have played in years. Trying to describe it to a friend i came up with this.
50% Final Fantasy 7
30% Soul Calibur
20% Diablo 2
It is such a nicely polished game which is really easy to get into (and get hooked) but just difficult enough master that makes you want to keep trying different techniques and combinations of equipment. It has that Crack like addictiveness of Diablo 2 that makes you go \"One more mission, see what i get and then i am going to bed\". I played it after work, went to a friends house at 9, got home at 1 and despite needing to be up 6:30, i just had to go a little longer.
Oh. It is on the PSP for people wondering what system is it on.

What system is this for?
Sounds like a good time, but I\'m a little hesitant on a non-rpg FF game.

My favorite was Final Fantasy Tactics, which I\'ve played probably once a year, for the last 10 years. To that point, I bought a PSP last year, just so I could have a backup copy and system for that one game, it\'s brilliant.
I\'ve also just this week started re-playing FF XII, which may have been a mistake, since I put something like 170 hours on it the first time, and am already hooked this time around.

I have not played it but I really want to. What I want is Square to come out with a remake of FF7 for PS3. I play the original for PS every summer.

Theomar, you are in luck then. If you got a PSP to play Tactics, then you will be able to play Crisis Core. It is still RPG like (possibly RPG lite though), and all the usual FF7 stuff is there as well. Just looking at the world in a different light. It is set before FF7, so you can meet younger characters before they have gone down the path they did later. Walking around with Sephiroth is pretty wierd, as he is a awe inspiring figure but knowing what he does later creates mixed emotions.
I just met up with Aerith and that was so cool.
Hojo, most of the Turks, Cloud and Yuffie are all in it at some point. None of this is spoiling anything. You also find out about the Buster Sword. If you own a PSP, go and buy it now. If you are a FF7 fan you will love this.
After i finish i will either get FF Tactics, FF1 or FF2. Or i will probably play through it again.

Played and finished this one. Some of the CG is very very impressive too. Nice to get a better look into SOLDIER that\'s for sure.

Battle system was a little open to abuse and found myself simple using certain materia and the roulette.

Great game though.

America is getting Yggdra Union soon - I highly recommend this game if you\'re into turn based anime style stuff. I finished the Japanese version and I loved it. Playing Fire Emblem right now too! My fave.

Its for PSP? Hooray! Looking for a good game after me and my friend finish Monster Hunter 2 Freedom.

Has it got some multiplayer mode?

iirc it\'s just a single player game. MHF2 rocks! I\'m currently playing MHP2G (Japanese new version).

The G Level monsters are stupid hard :(

Well cause I\'m not a power gamer the monsters in MH2F are hard enough for me...some of them damn hard even doing them with my friend.

But sure it is fun =). The best is that its a game where you cooperate rather than punch or shoot eachothers heads. Great idea. Hope the make a follow up for PSP.

Is that G version a whole new game or just a \"addon\" of MH2F?
