Final Battle: did I do this correct?

Tonight the family finished our first campaign. (BTW: thank you CMON for the great family time and

I hit the Minotaur in the final room with a ground pounder and damaged him. The Minotaur, the Troll, AND Lord Fang were all dazed since they were enemies close to the target. Since they don't rest, they were all without defense dice for the rest of the game.

I think this was done correctly but it really led to an anti-climactic final.

Thoughts? Did I apply the rules correctly?

I am not familiar with ground powder but your dazed rules sounds correct to me. The final battle has been spoken of as anticlimactic by many people. I was able to clean the room in two turns. You are just very powerful by the last turn.

This is what happened in one of our games. I used the Ground Pounder similarly. There is no mechanic for monsters and villains to recover from dazed, so I would say that you played it correctly.
