hello,
i put this guy up on the sight a few days back and i just keep noticing how no one votes on him! he has a decent amount of looks but i guess everyone agrees with his score? (which is fine hes getting a very acceptable score atm) but no one seems interested in putting in there 2 cents. i find it funny that one mini can have 160looks and 7 votes and another has 170 looks and 52 votes.
i think this just proves my thoery that people mostly vote when they disagree with the scores they see?

here he is, the man who took to many steriods...err strenght potions.

Interesting theory. I\'ve never heard that one before. Personally I don\'t look at scores before I vote so it wouldn\'t apply to me. I do think your \"popularity\" affects your views/votes ratio.

Seeing as you only have 8 posts in the forums at the time I write this, I think your name must not be out there so much.
Oh, and Shawn is right about pimping. That\'s what this forum is all about.

I think you will find that a lot of people will only vote on figures that they find interesting. Personnaly I vote on what is pimped here. I only visit the normal voting pages every now and then. Voted a 7 by the way. I don\'t think the skin has enough contrast; especially the face and the blending on the armour was lacking IMO.

I\'d say an 8, and I\'d also add that the figure is terrible whilst the paintjob is excellent. Saying that though, as much as I dislike the figure itself, its quirkiness allowed you to do a top job on the armour.

There have been a couple of threads on the subject of why people look but not vote and I don\'t think there is any one good reason for it. Speaking for myself, I can\'t even begin to imagine a reason because I vote. I even vote when the current vote is the same as the vote I think it deserves, because once a mini gets the 50 vote mark it can help the painter get the ranking they deserve, and even after that number it is a sign of solidarity of interest.

Scales look very good. Sword NMM looks a little light grey to me. People once pointed out to me what \"whites\" in the eyes aren\'t always pure white. Otherwise it\'s a very good mini.

And so I voted.

But pimping the mini often helps. The shoutbox can be your friend, if you politely shout. :D

I paint my thumb.
8 from me^^

He sure look like it as a lot of energy!
I think the exegerated, almost \"comic style\"
paintwork really does him good.

It\'s passed the 50votes now, so I guess you can be happy with your 7.8 average:D

thanks for all the feedback, i think you all are going to get me to post more on here. getting 6x the normal comments and votes is nice.
anyone know why it says my ebay auction ended in 1969? or if it even does on you screens? i checked the ebay number and its correct...

My guess is that the information on END DATE is only available for currently active auctions, and that the system sends CMON a blank or null or some value that it interperets as the smallest possible date.
