Female Inquisitor conversion

Hi there, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post on so please excuse me for this mistake

So the brilliant plan I came up before going to sleep, please don't judge me, is to make a female inquisitor. I'm not a big fan of the current 40k inquisitors (which seem to be all male) on sale and I don't particularly want to use a Sister of Battle model (as there is to much armour around them that I would most likely cut off). So my brilliant idea (if you can call it that lol) is to make my own female Inquisitor, as I'm sure that the inquisition do have these characters somewhere in their organisation.

So I'm on the look for a model that I would imagine, if she was were to walk among the ranks of common Imperial Guardsmen she would make all their heads turn, but if she were to look them in the eye, make them chill to the bone. If there is a model that could closely recreate that feel (that sexy look), with the help of either some or a lot of conversion that would be awesome.

Cheers in advance

there are 3 female inquisitor minis in the gw range already not sure if you're counting the as SoB minis and already hate them but if so there is also the female commisar from the american gamesday a while back

there would be seriously a ton of different minis that would work as a female inquisitor it really does depend a lot more on exactly what look you are going for whether it's the more gothic inquisition look or militaristic guard look

Well I'm more thinking of a guard looking Inquisitor.

Haha I dont hate the SoB's, I just dont particularly like the look of them but if worse comes to worse i might grab a model from that range and work around it.

I've seen the female Inquisitors on the range and like them but im more looking for a unique model. I saw that comissar on a site, but cant seem to find it on GW range anywhere. but yea thats the sorta model im looking for, but i will still do a fair bit of converting on the model so yea, any model in GW range would be sweet.

Hi Jaaps, I'm not sure of the exact appearance of Inquisitors in 40K but there's a female mini hidden on GW's site that I really quite like. It's in the Mordheim Sisters of Sigmar box, the fat matron. Convertible enough? You might want to scour online auctions for a single though so as not to have to pay obscene Aus prices for 7 extra models that you don't want. I see GW have a Matriarch & a Sister Superior available individually but I don't like those :D

Good luck!

Well it does because according to 40k rules, I'm only allowed to field GW mini's in a game. I want this to be a featured character in my existing DH army. So technically it has to be but i can say that i sculpted it although no one would believe me lol

the female commisar i mentioned was an american gamesday figure though i'm not sure but it might have been one of the limited editions that got a general release in some parts of the world afterwards you won't find it for sale on the gw website as they've changed the style of minis they use since it was released but it's regularly on ebay GW does have a pretty limited scope when it comes to female characters if it's not an army or gang dedicated to women or a demon alien or elf you're lucky if there are one or 2 diff models that are women in any given range of theirs so it might be worth looking further afield if you're worried about the anal arbiters even they say with the conversions it just has to be the majority of it being a gw mini but if it looks good and has obviously been converted to look like it belongs in the 40k world i can't see anyone giving a shit except tossers you wouldn't want to associate with

i like the army brat figures that have been ltd ed's for this site but to make them look inquisitory (new word) they'd need a fair bit of conversion
