Female Barbarian by Freebooter Miniatures

Let me start by saying than I'm usually not a big fan of Freebooter Miniatures. Most of the time the style is just not my cup of tea. This one is different though - I liked this sculpt from the moment I first saw it and finally came around to painting the Female Barbarian (stupid name though ... Warrior Princess sounds so much nicer ).

Anyway I was heavily inspired by some of Jen Haley's fantastic works. Even though the result is better than expected it of course doesn't hold a candle to Jen's fantastic stuff. Also I am not very comfortable with NMM. Still I am fairly happy overall.

she looks pretty undead to me, very sinister. love the skin tone.

I like this one! Very cool! The colours in the face and of the eyes create a great effect. Cool base too.
