I\'m in the process of doing conversions for my namesake Gorog and his lovely little runelord, Brogar the Hungry. I\'m about midway through the conversions and was hoping for some feedback.
Here\'s Brogar:
He\'s carrying what will become a rune encrusted spatula. I was wondering what else you would do with him to make him look a little more like a Runelord. I\'ve erred on the side of character so far but I wouldn\'t be upset if he was more imposing. So far the only conversions on him so far was a fleshing out of his buttocks, armour was sculpted on his back. The armour isn\'t visible on the front as he\'s wearing an apron which covers it. On the apron I put a little pocket with a spoon and a fork in it. I also corrected the mistakes with the hammer slung on his back and I have started his soon to be rune encrusted spatula.
Here\'s Gorog:
He\'s obviously a doomseeker that I\'ve sculpted armour on. To be precise I sculpted some loose plate armour over his torso this then seques into a few links of chainmail which cover his abdomen till you get to his belt. I\'ve also sculpted a shin guard over his right shin/knee. As he is a brewmaster, I have him dragging a very heavy barrel of his finest behind him (oathstone). I haven\'t finished building up the gouged earth so you\'ll just have to imagine that.
More or less the big questions are three-fold:
1. Should I resculpt the hair on his head? Or perhaps give him some form of helmt?
2. Which kind of weapon do you think would be most suited to him? I\'m currently not in the mood to make him a weapon but you never know.
3. In the process of sculpting his breastplate, I had to cover up some of his left beard. I obviously will have to resculpt this. How much do you think should cover up the breastplate?
I apologize for the poor pictures as they were a rush job, but I hope they give you a feel for what I want to do with the models. I personally love the Gorog conversion as the original doomseeker had an excellent feeling of forward motion and I think I carried this through by having him charge forward while dragging his barrel (Fire of Plenty) behind him.
Thanks again for the comments.
