So far it looks like everyone is thrilled with the gifts they got, but what was that one best gift you gave someone else that just made their day?

We gave my eldest daughter a doodle bear and she\'s been giving her pirate tattoos with the markers all morning

it\'s not much but i managed to get a REALLY fluffy, soft dressing gown for my mum. been looking for something like this for ages and finally found one. i think i like it more than her though!

A rocking horse for my nephew. It was bloody expensive, but it was me that fell in love with it and had to find a reason to buy it. Absolutely gorgeous, my nephew loves it, my brother and sister-in-law both love it. Aye, it was money well spent. :)

I gave my fella a pair of cufflinks that he really liked, but the thing he said touched him the most was a wrapped up set of keys to my flat. Neither of us are here very much but that is the one that did it for him.

For me it was the Hippogryph loot card for my Fiance. She\'s been wanting the in game pet the card gives since it first came out.

I\'m giving my best friend Captain Jack Sparrow from Andrea Miniatures, and I get to paint it first :cool:

I\'m also flying her out to Hawaii for New Years and I get to go with her :D

...although I think that\'s more a present for her fiance :D

My daughter Torrie LOVED her MP3, matte of fact so did her sister!

Morgen (the sister) also got a dino digging set, you hammer the \"bones\" from the plaster, she loves it!

Best ones I think I\'ve given so far was 2 painted portraits of my nephews for my sis and bro-in-law :)

I think they turned out quite well - and they have them displayed in their living room :)

It\'s a 3-way tie.

1) I got my mom a limited edition Jackie Chan flick (The Myth)

2) I got the papa the old school D&D cartoons

3) I got my brother 2 bean bag chairs and my room when i move out :)

I enjoy buying for other people, I like shopping for other people too :)

helping my mom fix up some stuff to get framed for my dad (and myselfe) i wasnt alowed to see it finished till christmas. il\'l be getting pics of it soon :)

My most fun gift was a chessset I made for my dad (he collects them) all put together with Demonworld (15mm) figures. The board I made from a tile (etching in lines and painting it)... tiny thing :) More work then anticipated though... but he was very happy with it.

Hmmm...

My favorite was giving my Dad this goofy Bigfoot sculpture I made and painted for him....I also gave him a couple of Bigfoot books. He seemed genuinely tickled.

My sister isn\'t that well off, bless her, having ben screwed about by a bloke when she was younger and left to fend for herself and kid on the government\'s money. She\'s with a grand lad now and they\'ve got another kid. My good lady came up with the idea of giving them a basket full of Christmas grub. A hamper. We shopped for it all and it was very professionally laid out by El. Very good stuff and my sister was delighted.

I gave my father two tickets for the blue men group.
He was genuinely angry with me because I spent so much for him.... which means it\'s a great present. He always wanted to see the show but every time he tried to go they were closed or he did not get a ticket. Well, now he\'s thrilled to see the show with his son (bought a ticket for myself too of course).

Second best present is the one I gave to my mother. It\'s a hot/cold compress thingy shaped to stay on the whole back. Hope it helps her with her back pain. She\'s really happy with it.

Cheryll however gets a pretty crappy present :( I couldn\'t get the one I wanted and had serious problems with those I am givng her now.
And I will not say what it is because she does not yet have them and might read it here :D
