Farseer

I am growing really fond of painting these Farseers, they are great models.

I figured I\'d try something different with this one, and thanks to Queenoftheunifrogs, came up with this color scheme.

very clean painting but it needs more depth in the shadeing plus more highlites, other than that your painting is very smooth

I agree with starchaser, to an extent. You do need more highlights, but I think the shading looks fine. If you do decide to give it some extra highlights keep them limited, nothing too extreme. From the front its not as obvious but from the back it looks plain.

But it is a nice piece, the colors work very well together. nice job.

nice and clean tho

I agree with what has been said already, you could try shading the white with a shadow/spacewolf grey (very dilute), that would bring out the shape. The cloak could also do with another highlight (or two) but not by much (just add a little pale grey or bleached bone to the original colour and that should get a good light shade NOT white).

Just my 2p\'s worth (or 2c\'s, or 2 Euro\'s whatever...)

Thanks for the comments everyone. Looking at it now I agree the cloak could use with a couple of more highlights, although it\'s a bit less flat in reality. The white was suppose to be an ivory then highlighted up to pure white, just seems to have come out very washed out in the pictures.
