Hi all,

Just recieved my UK white dwarf 364 today.

Thought I would point out a fantastic Gold NMM tutorial by Darren Latham.

He's painting the new Blood Angel "The Sanguinor"

for someone who's never painted NMM before I'm thinking of giving it a try.......

Does this happen to be anywhere not in a WD?

The GW site perhaps?

I haven't bought WD in years. I stopped when the ads took up more room then the new game content (aka a long time ago).

it's actually quite a good one, for a change, better laid out than some others that have been in recent issues
I've not seen it on the website yet but that may change once it's on general sale

he gave a bit of a tut on CMON when he had the nice ass elf lord from a while back, but yeah wd has been well worth it on the ones with the painting tuts.

I'm happy that most of you seem to like the White Dwarf masterclass articles,
we put a lot of time and effort into making them for the readers so thanks for the good feedback! :)

while i love WD, and have collected the mag since issue 75 or so, i do read it mostly on the bog:)...

i just wish my mag would come in the mail around the same time it arrives in the shop...
waiting a week or more is a real drag...
the money saved on a subscription is not worth the stress of wondering when i'll finally get my issue...
that's not your problem though...

i love the tutorials that you guys do...
even though i haven't copied one, they definitely get the wheels turnin'...

this will actually be the first time that i try copying a tutorial...
Sanguinor will be my first attempt at NMM, so you better have done a good article;)...

Yep this one went into a lot of detail with detailed photgraphs. The masterclasses have become much better lately.

Before you would look at the stages and photos, and the turtorial would say now add this colour when it was obvious 3 or 4 more stages had been added first, but never spoken of. That annoys the shitties out of me.

I have to admit it is an awesome tutorial, and i'm thinking of giving it a go myself, all we need now is something similar that shows you how to blend (hint hint) :p
