End Game?

I\'m getting back into the hobby again.. but having moved into a much smaller shared living space than before, I\'m now wondering..

What exactly do you do with your beautifully painted minis when they\'re done to perfection? (Besides letting them gather dust on a shelf ) I guess I do mean mins\' painted for fun or display rather than those specifically for gaming (though storage solutions are always fun :D)

I have a glass cabinet so that they hopefully don\'t gather as much dust. But, that\'s it, mostly. Sometimes I\'ll sell or give something away...

i finish very few so i put mine in old ferrero rocher tubs as they are just big enough, clear and the tops can easily be removed if you blue tack the mini to the lid and have case upside-down

First, of course, you need to rid the tubs of their original content. :]

If you need any help with that, you know where I live....

I take a nice picture and then sell them on eBay. Helps fund the hobby.

I need to get rid of some figures. Anyone want to buy a nicely painted Khador army for Warmachine? :D

All of my small minis are displayed in a type-setting tray that\'s mounted on my wall- it makes a perfect display case! I have a nicer case for my larger minis.

All of the ones I keep are either ones I just want to display, or ones I bought specifically for D&D.

I\'m hoping to start selling some on eBay in the near future.

As I have been painting for gaming before all my figure are hidden in boxs but as I am now painting more display stuff I guess I will be looking for a nice cabinet, then again after taking pictures I may well sell or give away as presents to friends and relatives
Good question though, I have always said this shows the diference between a wargamer and a military modeler one hides them away to be played with later the other locks them in nice display cabinets never to be touched againlol
I am talking about figures still before anyone get the wrong idea:D

Put them in an antique pie safe, in little craft boxes that you used to could get form Walmart, when they sold things like sewing, craft, and hobby supplies.

For ones that get transported often, those craft boxes get put side by side in a King Cobra 40oz case.

Tanks and other large things, go in tackle/tool boxes with all the styrofoam peanuts I have from things I bought on eBay...Recycle, Reduce, Reuse!

Minis I really don\'t like get put into things like spare soap dishes, and other lidded containers for carrying to armies, like those stupid Genestealers that like to play grab-ass with anything else around them.

Schaeffer\'s Last Chancers have a wall-mount display case made for them from an el-cheapo knick-knack house shaped wooden segmented thing painted in camo with the Last Chancers insignia painted on it.

Pretty much I put them anywhere I have room left to put them. :D
