The drybrushing is very harsh onthis mini. On the metals I would do some blue and black ink washes. Then some brown washes on the lower sections.

The blue is very bright but could still use some highlighting and shading. The cloth and parchment I would give a wash of flesh and then rehighlight with bone. If your up to it try doing some squiggles to look like writting. The first letter do larger and in red.

The funny looking weapon I would do in gold to make it seem ancient.

Hope that helps Its a nice conversion.

You\'d probably see big improvements if you painted the wax seals red and parchment a bleached color - - something to stand out from the loincloth.

Some dark blue ink wash would help it get more dinamism and as darthmarc said it would make a big difference if you\'d paint the seels in a different colour (doesn\'t necessarly need to be red).

Nice conversion howerver:)

Conversion is competent, drybrushing is ropey :D

This is the \'Painting and Conversions\' part of a forum devoted to painting toy soldiers. Is there any point in posting pics if you don\'t expect feedback?:)
