Embroidered Cloth

Hi guys, Im working on Vilmon right now from the Privateer Press line and I just finished the cloak, for those that arent familiar with the model it\'s about 70 percent of it. Which leads me to my question. Does anyone know of a good tutorial or a couple good images to use as an example of a nice \"embroidery\" job for the tips of the cloak? Thanks in advance

well, for embroidery. you just freehand like normal and it works out. try googling embroidered gothic lettering or look at some rennaissance art work for ideas.

Well, I embroider, but everything that I do is usually flowers and leaves, that kind of stuff. As a general rule, a good piece of embroidery is satin smooth and slightly raised from the surface of the cloth. Stitch direction is always important, but to scale it down to the size for a mini would be near impossible. As said before, you\'ll probably just want to do normal freehand. Hope that helps.
