Eldar How-To\'s from the old GW page

In the time between I found the Eldar mini-site on the GW page and the time that I had the supplies to try out some of the cool modeling stuff they ahd featured, GW updated that site and Poof! all the cool articles are gone.

From what I remember, there was an article about basing Eldar models, a PDF blueprint for a Warp Gate, and a short series of before/after pictures of Eldar terrain from the codex. Does anybody have this stuff saved or know where I could access it? Wayback Machine loads the page, but all the pictures are corrupt - and those are really the point!

Wayback machine works for me. Maybe you picked a bad date, or I am looking at the wrong section?

Crapped out on page two. The way some websites are made these days it is hard to archive, even if the robots allow for it.

None of the other images were allowed to be saved to the Wayback, thanks to the entire copyright thing, that violates copyright law in terms of fair-use for NOT letting it be copied for fair-uses. :cussing:

Sorry, but those were the only ones I could find in the entire archive.

GW changing everything probably wants to get rid of old articles that have old minis, and want to update, so people will buy new minis. You might get lucky and find the eldar articles, if they were copied over to the new servers, by trying the same name for the files or liniks to them.

So the Warp Gate is up, at least. Still, no Basing the Warhost or Studio Eldar Terrain. How is GW with responding to random customer e-mails? I might drop them a line just see if they\'ve got this stuff saved and are willing to fork it over.

If they aren\'t getting your money for it, then they aren\'t doing it.
