so whaddaya think.

This is my figure to run my Eldar army. Good enough for table top I think.

I want to more to it, like some freehand on the cloak, a better base for sure, maybe some more details on the wings.

or is it good enough as it is? I had to kinda rush him so I could enter him in a local painting contest.

Thoughts?

the helmet looks good, but you could brighten up the green parts, it looks almost as you haven\'t used any highlights there. the red tones are good, though you could bighten them up a bit aswell... personal advice, I don\'t know if anyones agrees :p the gun looks good, you don\'t have to change it a bit. another thing to do is to put some gravel on the base. it looks ok now aswell though :p otherwise, really good, I would like to see the whole sword aswell. ;P
keep it up! :D

I\'m kinda disappointed with the picture. The highlights are there, but I think the sealer on the mini is preventing them from showing up very well, even photoshoping the picture.

That being said, I do appreciate the comments. I have a few more pictures of this guy, but I think I am going to putt more lusterless sealer on it and add some more details and then take more pictures.

I still think it is not half bad for a general for playing with. I would dread painting him up to GD standards and then getting the paint chipped or scratched from playing with him.

Thanks!!

Thats more than suitable for a general in a gaming army especially if the pictures aren\'t doing him justice. I like the colour scheme, it can be hard to get red and green to work well together without making it look like a christmas tree. Is the base finished? I would do some sand or gravel around the stones hes standing on just to finish it up a little more. Good job none the less.

you could buy some warnish. its really good if you want to keep the pint on the model :D but I must give you an advice if you do, buy matt warnish, gloss destroys the mini
