I\'m having trouble with the tunic though, I want to achieve an ivory to light khaki colour but I\'m not sure about the colours to use.
I tried with some bleached bone to white but didn\'t like it much...
any suggestions?

to do a good ivory white use simply commando kaki for the base, adding just a drop of badmoonyellow to it, then highlight straight with pure white... layering a lot ^^

Just one more step.

I am pretty concerned about the back of the coat... I think the crevasses are very unrealistic and I\'ll have much trouble. Also I can\'t think of anything creative or how to properly highlight that...

Any ideas???

P.S. When you take photos, I guess the right way is to put the light at the back of the miniature?

I tried a gradient but it is very subtle...
Some more work, I\'m still not happy with my painting though

Good mini and very well painted, the only mistake I can see is that the green clothes must be a bit more contrasted

It is looking very nice, I agree that there needs to be more contrast on the green coat.
