Well after many months of not painting I decided I needed to do a quickie to get back into the swing of things. So a coeple of weeks ago I started this guy.

Just painting when I can.

I have just about finished him now. Took a break from him today and spent an hour doing the front of Gandalfs robe.

And I like Gandalf too - although the mud looks a bit orangey?

I was thinking of having him on quite a orangey dusty looking base. will have to think how that will look.

Looking good I think the orangey dusty base would fit well with Khazad-Dûm\'s geology. That was a very orangey scene, but maybe that was just \'cos of the Balrog\'s flames? ???

Looks good DrEvilmonki, I like the cloak the best, and the gandalf mini, yes would look interesting with the orange dusty base
