This is a blood angels dreadnought I\'ve been working on. What do you think so far?

Obviously it\'s only in the basecoat stage but I\'ll update in a bit

The pink paint on the left shin-guard and the center of the mini are very out of place and strange looking.

The streaks on the right shin-guard, and there are numerous sports where it looks like the paint isn\'t covering properly over the black basecoat. If you\'re going for a battle-damaged look, then I suggest you look at this article by Manus that details how to create a chipped paint look that uses to great success.

Hope I don\'t sound harsh- just trying to give some C&C;)

Thanks for the feed back but there\'s a few things I wonted to clear up first of all the pink is not going to stay its just left over from my first base cote.as for the bits of black showing through, like I said it\'s just the base cote so they wont stay like that. I\'ll be posting updates soon.:)

The paint is a little streaky, I used to have this problem all the time when painting my marines, until I thinned the paints down a lot.

I really struggle with the consistency and went from one extreme (too thick) to the other (too thin).

It is a lot easier to achieve a flat finish with thinner paints though.
