Hi everyone, I have been lurking around here for quite a long time but I only just decided to sort myself out and register. This is partly because I have just come into the ownership of a massive box of bits! I mean massive... there must be hundreds of pounds in here. I dabbled with warhammer way back when I was a young lad a good 9 or so years ago. I am now almost 20, haven\'t done any warhammer since but am hoping that my age and constant browsing will have helped me improve without having to actually do any work! So here\'s the box I have now:

Here\'s two conversions I\'ve done with it so far:

I\'m a bit scared to try and paint stuff... I also have been given a lot of paint but haven\'t checked to see if it has dried out or anything. I\'ll give the nurgle daemon a go this afternoon! So besides showing you what\'s gone on so far - can anyone see any other nice conversion opportunities within this box? C&C on the two I\'ve started? Oh - and if anyone wants to buy anything out of the box, I\'ll probably be able to sort something out...

i would love to suggest some awesome conversions but without the bits in my hands, it\'s hard to see what works

make sure you put together the heresy netherlord though, hell dwarf the demon prince!

i really like the termie. the weapon is pretty cool

looks like there are some mould lines on the demon\'s mace (chain)

I like the fly/human face on the DP\'s free arm. That\'s very cool. I\'m looking forward to seeing it painted

I love the termie conversion. The chaos marauder heads work very well for making space wolf minis.

Hi all, thanks for the comments so far!

Looks like there is a mold line on the chain, also I noticed the horn on the fly face is coming off - will sort those out as soon as possible. These two minis are my first ever conversions and also the first time using greenstuff (it wasn\'t even my own green stuff lol, I still have to get some!) so I am in a steep learning curve and appreciate any help with techniques or advice!

Right so I was looking through the box of bits and it just overwhelmed me! I couldn\'t think of anything to make, there was too much choice! And thus, the entire box (almost) is now for sale on ebay. I have retained a few pieces to work with.

I still have the Heresy Netherlord, lizard monster thing and a chunk of fantasy chaos, and some space marine pieces. I have a couple of nice conversions in mind for these pieces.

I have also bought some needle files and a sculpting tool set! Now I just need some greenstuff and possibly those silicone topped sculpting things - they look cool!

I think i see an archaon on foot in the gold-mine of bits!
I woulda kept the limited edition models (if their were any besides the one i already mentioned), and the coolest looking ones, then just shelf the rest and use them for other stuff when they come along.
