Anyone getting into the new Doom game by Fantasy Flight Games? Its pretty cool, like the successor of Space Hulk. Just curious to see if anyone has started painting the miniatures.

Not heard of this one but as Space Hulk is my all time favourite game then anything that resembles it has got to be worth a look.

I noticed that game in my local comic book shop.

It looked pretty interesting. It came with some miniatures, which is always cool. (but I really couldn\'t tell the quality from outside the box)

There\'s a large picture of two of the minis in an ad in Wizard magazine this month. They look quite well sculpted from what I can see.

Been reading Slashdot, I see I knew someone here would post this. The game looks interesting - I never got a chance to play Space Hulk.

I\'ll wager some of you could do wonders with these.

The miniatures are very nice, but they are almost rubbery.. Not bad like Mageknight, but not quite hard as plastic miniatures either. I just started painting a Mancubus today.

I like those sort of games too. They are fun to set up and can be played by the masses.

I really like the look of Doom. I quite like the look of War of the Ring too (also by FF).

I bought Memoir 44 just before Christmas and this is quite a cool game too.

Thanks for the link Jim, it looks like it may be worth a look and that mini you have started painting just inches me closer to taking the plunge.

@ No Such Agency you missed a treat if you missed Space Hulk it was a classic like I said I still have mine and it often comes out for a game or two.
