Hadn\'t heard of him until my friend told me about this incident. RIP Colin McCrae.

It was mainly due to his success and the coverage of it, that I used to watch rallying. Sad news, indeed.

I remember that crash he had whilst driving for Ford a few years back at the GB rally. He barrel rolled his motor about four times at silly speed and smashed the thing to bits. He was fine.

Crap way to go. Happened to Steve Hislop a few years back as well.

Not what I was expecting when I clicked on this... you never think it\'s about someone you admire.

From a human standpoint, I\'m sad to see him go.

From a gamer\'s standpoint, I\'m pissed that he\'s gone, cuz that means DiRT is the last game he\'s gunna make...

I used to watch one of the legs of the RAC Rally going through Clumber Park in Nottinghamshire. My Paps was a copper there so we used to get free tickets into the park to watch. Memories..

I think the worst part is his 5 year old son and his sons 6 year old mate were also killed in the crash

top driver indeed...he will be sorely missed in the sport...
now that travis pistrana is makin\' the move from moto x to rally drivin\' he will be the man to take up the torch of incredible natural talent...
shame to see mccrae go...if he had been flyin\' the copter, it would have crashed, tumbled, strewn it\'s parts about the countryside, and everyone would have walked away laughin\'...he had that kinda luck...
maybe the good lord needed a driver...i imagine the christian\'s god to be like he is on the simpsons...what a great image to think of colin zippin\' around in a supped up ford focus with god in the passenger seat, beard flowin out the window, grinnin\' from ear to ear, as they take blind corners at top speed...god\'s road would look like the greek leg of the rally tour...
everyone raise a pint of the black stuff in memory:beer:...

Gutted when I heard, I never knew about rally untill I played the rally games with his name. After that I was hooked gutted for his family and his kids freinds family. will definatly be missed!!!!!
