Doll Donations

Due to the death of a loved one I have come into owner ship of almost 100 Porcelein Dolls. I have no use for them, but I would never dream of thowing them away.

What I want to do is donate them to a Doll Museum in say the Chicago area, or does anyone know what I can do with them?

So sorry to hear of your loss. Take things slow.
If your looking to donate them try calling a local charity. Do some web research on doll clubs, they may have a lead or use for them.

Thanks, these where my mom\'s things. She passed bout 8-9 months ago. I have sorta come to terms with it.

As far as going slow, I am one day at a time, unfortuatly things are going too slow as it is up to my and my father to clean out the house. Mom was a pack rat and the house was packed.
So since I am an only child and most of the family are igornant self centered people I am doing it on moy own/

I am happy to report her 200-300 beanie babies will be sent over seas to US military bases to be given to the children misplaced on our various wars

Beowolf: I totally understand your loss and you have my deepest sympathies.
What you are doing is difficult and does continue the sense of loss, but it does help the grieving process.
I just hope that you will be able to find a museum which will appreciate your mothers doll collection.
