Or even if the silicon dragon stuff is still available from some other source? This one would be perfect but when you head to thier web store the domain is up for sale :(

I've seen several similar, but not one quite that nice and tall!

Hopefully, someone will know and it's not just a custom made jobby.

That's nice much nicer then the one I built when I got started. I made one for my gw paints and one for my dropper bottles. But I may barrow that design build for my dropper bottles and rebuild.

a long time ago someone posted their home-made rack and I still think it was better than all of these. They took a pvc pipe and cut it on the diagonal into a bunch of small pieces and glued them together and hung them on the wall so that each was an angled up chute for a paint pot. The beauty was if you add more paint you could always glue on more tubes.
My present paint rack is already inadequate. I need to get off my duff and do that.

Now, if you just hinged that 2nd one and made it a carrying case that would be awesome.

And great idea numbering them, uglybug

It was in a thread about posting photos of your workspace. Whoever it was had a little building in the back yard that was dedicated as a painting room. I don't think the search function goes back that far though.

Good recall there Mr. Finn.

I haven't seen Mick around for a long time. Helluva good guy, hope all is well for him.

Ooo, going to have to pick up some plastic piping I think - that is inspired and would free up a shelf in my cupboard too!

I went to the website at the link in the original post to this thread:
http://www.miniaturicum.de/product_i...oducts_id=4506

Muddled through ordering it, went to pay via paypal. There was an issue with paypal because I have a US address so... I hit the contact link, sent a quick message explaining the problem, and had a reply in 5 minutes! I got an invoice, paid via paypal and smooth sailing. (message reply was in English BTW)

The next day I got a note saying it was shipped. With the "totally awesome" euro to dollar conversion rate, it was a little over $70 with shipping.

I'll post an update when it arrives.

I've just nicked Mick's idea, as it seemed so good, and was able to knock this up pretty quickly:

The carcass is an old cutlery insert and I was able to source two diameters of plastic pipe from my local DIY store for a very reasonable price. I chopped the pipe into three inch lengths and then sliced each length at a diagonal. Most time was spent removing flash and sanding the ends of the cut pipe. I then just hot-glued the lengths together into blocks that fitted the sections of the cutlery drawer. Simples...:D

It's an expanding cutlery insert so I can easily remove the left and right hand blocks and collapse the thing into a much more compact size.

I can't quite tell from the video or the pictures of the TTG Vallejo bottle rack but is there any slope to those angles or are those shelves at 90 degrees?
