Do you hate me, or what?

Hi, i noticed a strange thing that made me feel very sad... I posted yesterday the picture of my new templars of hod... is the second group of those guys that i post here. Well, the first group got good votes, and now has an 8.6... Now, in the second group i improved my tecniques, changed the bases with some new elaborated bases, and made a lot of job to improve the level of metallic parts and try to get better pictures... and surprise, when i went to see them today i saw this... 27 votes... average 7.7 !!! Now my question is: Is someone sniping me? If that is the case... WHY? I always been kind with everyone on this site, i just paint minis because i like to do it and i sell minis to survive, because is my only source of money... I post here the pictures of the first group and of the second group... can you tell me what do you think about it. Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad english...

The pictures are better in the first lot than the second, simple as that.

A worse pic will cause a worse score.

the pictures was taken with the same machine, with the same light in the same site... what is the problem with the secon picture? I don\'t understand... for me the second pic have a better quality...

Hate to say it, but it isn`t the metal so much, but is more that when you look at the faces from the first set to the second set in comparison, the first had nice color and depth, whereas the second are lighter and one seems to have a blue smudge in the right eye. Also the metal is light in the first batch, like polished steel, whereas the second looks more like weather worn steel or damascus blades. Yes the bases are better, but I guess it is just more of a matter of taste, so don`t get discouraged and if they are selling, who cares! You win in the end anyway. Besides, as long as you are happy with the work, that is all that matters in the end.:idea:

That is very strange, I like both sets, and they are certainly worth around the 9 mark at least.

I hope your rating goes back up soon:D

Get used to it ;) Everyone get\'s sniped, not just you... there are some people out there that just want to bring others down :)

Your style is a bit special, but I personally love it :) Don\'t put all your confidence in the vote, as your most likely better than whatever score you get...

Well i think your work deserves a better vote indeed, but beware such threads usually attract more snipers.

I find the paintjob great. However noticed that there\'s been a while since comments were last modded on the site probably. Anyway, I found with my bolt thrower, things get better after 50-55 votes sometimes, extremities get even :)
