Disturbing creatures

My dog just ate one of my goblins, so maybe it\'s a good idea to ask if anyone have some disturbing and interfering in mini painting \"creatures\" at home. S...t, I\'ve got one. Bloody Great Dane.....:mad:

...yeah... a six year old boy named August, my youngest...

...the scenario normally developes suchly...

\"Dad, what\'s this one?\" (picks up WIP figure)

\"Oh, that\'s a rare out of print 1. ed. Citadel Terminator Marine in Mk. 1 Tactical Dreadnought armour, August. Please me careful with it.\"

\"Okay, Dad...oops...\" (drops WIP figure, paint chips, weapon bends)

\"Sorry, Dad...\" (looks very apologetic)


I don\'t want to scare them away (\"Don\'t touch my figures!!\"), what\'s to do?:(???:D

Teach \'em to paint! Then they will soon learn how to handle minis without ruining them.

hope the gobo comes out as smoothly as it went in...

At my house, it\'s cats. 2 of the most free willed, \'do what i say\" cats. They feel they\'ve got the right to just walk across the table or desk and all the minis should part the way for them; and they all end up dropping to the floor, or even out the window.... damned cats. :mad:

A fanatic!!:eek:You needs to watch out for that,is it a vet call thing,.....it was metal wasn\'t it!!In the second pic she looks like she\'s thinking,....\'wish I\'d have gone for the High Elves\'.Hope she\'s ok!:D

A mini \'disappeared\'. The cat had taken it all the way across the house. Luckily it was unscathed. The mini that is.

Whenever I hear of cats and mini\'s it\'s never good news it seems,they\'re always drinking the paint water and nonchelantly swishing mini\'s aside by all accounts,I\'m glad I don\'t have any.Dogs though,Nightmare:DAlways doing the jumping up exited thing,and the tails:rolleyes::]Still waiting to hear of a painter who\'s got a mini obsessed bird that likes to line his nest/cage with them!!:D

I had a palet of wet oil paints in the car and the cat got in, walked through the paints then walked all over the interior. Kitty footie prints EVERYWHERE.:mad:lol

I\'ve got two Budgies that fly loose much of the time. They\'ve taken to sometimes landing amidst my works in progress. Sometimes they just land, chirp imperiously, and then fly away, and sometimes our younger bird goes on a Godzilla-esque rampage through them, toppling as many as he can before I notice, and then flying off again. They have not, as far as I can tell, tried to carry any off, yet. Not sure they\'re big enough.

....they go for my eyes,my mums one was terrible for that:D

Shawn--Sounds like your cat has pent up painting frusrtrationslollolI was in fits when I read that:DSo Nahukel gets the \'mad birds\' prize,who has a hamster in a ball that can take out whole armies???lol

It\'s not my dog. I have adopted the landlady\'s dog. I\'m his favorite though. I give him lamb, pieces of steak, and buy him treats when I go to the store. Anyway, I ordered some water effects from Canada for scenery. HE was in the courtyard knocking the box around trying to eat it and the miniatures I bought. Some how he got the box from where the mailman placed it. I think it would have been funny to see the water effects dry on his face. Kind of like he was freezing, or permanently rabid.lol

There was also the time our friend\'s dog tried to eat rocks when I took him out for a walk.lollollol

Dude. Everyone knows you don\'t give four year old your work to hold. Especially if it\'s a limited edition rare item.Thats just cruel and unusual punishment to the miniature. I think I\'m going to be sick. :|~ Maybe you\'re the disturbing creature.??? lol
