Display Bases

Hi i\'ve been having trouble finding display bases for my models i\'ve scoured every art/hobby shop in ireland looking for something to do the job with no luck has anyone a link for a web-site selling them?I\'d really appreciate it thanks.

Massimiliano makes superb black PVC display bases.

I will be selling round display bases at some point (probably start of next year) in a range of sizes and woods/finishes. Thinking of doing some spiffy laminated ones made from different woods and metals.

A guy locally just bought a lathe just for that.

but at the price, you\'d make it up after about a dozen bases.

Why didn\'t I think of that! I was hoping Massimiliano would have another Ebay auction soon, but maybe I could go right to the source!

Yes, Jim! Send him a PM. His stuff is quite reasonably priced and the PVC ones are exceptional. Haven\'t seen the wooden ones in real life, so I can\'t comment on them.

Add on the cost of your chucks and chisels and you\'re closer to 300 bucks. Not that cheap really. My old man just bought one and then realised he needed other stuff like a grinder, pillar drill and bandsaw. He\'s spent a packet on the stuff already!

Come on dad, get those display bases going!!:D
