Did GW stop production of Mega Paint sets

I haven\'t seen any around my local store. One representative told me they are getting new paint range and told me to wait for those. Just wondering whether it is still possible to get my hands on one.

The store where I used to buy my Citadel paints has the same problem, they\'re only re-stocking some important colors (black, white, etc) but for the rest they\'re waiting for the new color range

wouldn\'t bet on it. from what I\'ve heard they are just has crappy, if not worst. I say just buy a couple of vallejo like bottles and transfer your paint. The GW store in my town still carries that paint set.

Think hard...

Before committing yourself to GW with their amazingly crappy pots. Consider Vallejo Game Colour which matches every one of GWs current range and has nice dropper bottles. Please don\'t buy a mega set at the moment \'cos they are replacing their paints and, if you buy one I guarentee you will see them being sold at a reduced price a few weeks later. Well at least that is what would happen to me:flip:

I agree with finn17, the price on the old mega paint sets is sure to drop drastically when the new paint line starts up. You might even be able to find a mega paint set now, online, for a reduced price. Search around ebay and retailer sites, I\'m sure you\'ll find something.

Can you get Vallejo online?

Were I am, I\'m lucky to just have GW paints nearby, and I can\'t find Vallejo anywere. I was wondering if there were any good sites online that you could order the paint off of, and that don\'t charge an arm and a leg for shipping.

I believe it has more to do with the paint price rise than it does with the new bottle design. However, I don\'t know if this price rise applies to those of you outside the UK.

The \"game\" colour matches the GW paints and the names are almost the same as well, for ex. bald moon yellow=bad moon yellow, the \"model\" colour has tonnes more variety and neat extras like crackle medium, retarder, metalizer, flourescents, etc...

Ha! I got one! I got all the GW colors!
And it\'s not that bad that they dispose of a few colors, some of them aren\'t used that much and all of them you can just get by mixing with others.(It will cost you more paint and time, that\'s all....)
