Who says you are entitled to own every figure? You are not pledging 85$ for a figure, you are pledging 85$ to support a podcast and are getting an array of swag for dozens of games. Just because you only want one figure doesn't make it '85$ for one figure'.
And you are not entitled to get a figure for what you determine should be retail value simply because you want it. If you don't want to support the podcast, then roll the dice later and try to get one via other means. I am going to support the podcast and it is worth every penny to me.
Alternatively could anyone recommend a good proxy miniature?
Cheers

Will there be any other way of getting this figure Retail as having to pledge $85 for a figure is wrong.
Impact has a Robed mage... You could probably get some super tiny dice and put them in his hat and hand to make him a dicemaster.

Thanks nkelsch it's appreciated! People need to stop complaining and try be more proactive about finding a solution.
I do think he should be doing a patreon instead of a kickstarter. It's already been a successful show, there's no kickstarting it, it already started.
That said, I'm tired of reading things like "basically a way for a person to do nothing but board game reviews and go to game conventions all year while living off of other peoples money" when that is basically what reports have been doing since FOREVER. That's the point. He's not taking advantage of anyone in any way and and any more than Rolling Stone or People or CNN or PBS do. He's only asking people to give what they can give and at certain levels of participation you get a little more.

Before you posted this did you try contacting Tom? Because I did and he told me that the figure will be available for separate purchase (probably through BGG store) When? He did not minis, but it will eventually be available.
