Demo Games

Morning all,

I really want to get WoK going at my local game store. I got the Ancient King pledge so I have a lot of stuff to work with. I'm looking for any input on running demo games and generating interest. Which two factions would be good for demo games? Are there any promotional materials that anyone knows of? etc etc etc

Best way to generate interest is to have a bunch of painted models and be around regularly to play. Now, Since you have everything, I'd recommend having an intro force of each house and let the person you are trying to entice choose. If you want specific Houses, I's say Hadross, Nasier, and Goritsi, as they seem to the be most popular. Teknis and Shael Han can do OK in Intro games, but they seem to have a higher learning curve, especially Shael Han and keeping everyone in all the buffs, but spread out enough to cover objectives. If you are serious about it, I'd print out a few copies of just the fluff parts of the books, and let them read some of the story.
