Death Korp of Krieg fluff?

Hello,

I\'m just sitting down to paint a very nicely sculpted ForgeWorld Death Korp figure and realize that I know nothing about it. Can anyone help?

I\'m looking for some quick background fluff.. why are they the \"death korp\"? what colors are they typically? that kind of stuff...

Anything you know would be appreciated.

Krieg was laid to waste when rebellion led to a 500 yr compaign of atomic purging. The Death Korps now seek to make amends for their earlier heresy by martyring themselves to the Imperial cause. They fight without fear of death, hating retreat or surrender. They\'re great at grinding their enemies down in battles of attrition, making use of razorwire and entrenchment. Prefer heavy bolters and meltaguns.

brown leatherish colors, or greys for clothing. Armor is greyish\\green or brown. The excitement comes from adding mud and dirt and scratch effects

Well I do not know much about them I think FW somewhere says there are specialists in siede and position warfare, thus the WWI imagery, the heavy artillery and so on; the old guard codex says on page 28 quote
\' loyal PVS troops planet Krieg purified through 500 years of atomic cleansing\'
this is a translation ´cause I only have the german version. And no I don´t have a clue what PVS is.
