Dancin Girl wip: Finished

well here is my first female mini lol I tried my damndest to get a fem skin tone and this mini had some nice doe eyes so tried to capitolize on that and I\'m no make up artist so she\'s lookin a bit hookerish atm but ya\'ll get the idea. there are a couple spots I need to clean up was a lil more tired then I shoulda been when base coating her outfit. Also had some bonus fun playin around with gimp enjoy the stamp o friar on it.

As Always tips and pointers are always welcome and appreciated.

looks great. same as before though - up the contrast. it\'s a noticeable improvement on the last mini, both paint and photo wise

I just looked at the pic and the mini and it\'s a bit washed out, but none the less could still do with more contrast, but heres a question how to gain contrast without making the skin look dirty? I noticed this happening with the woodelf and it don\'t really matter if some tree huggin elf looks grimmy but I don\'t think this lass wants to look like she plays in mud puddles. Is there a color to add to increase the shadowing without making the skin look dirty? I\'ll be workin on her today and will get some better photos up.

Normally I think out get the best skin shadig by layering up from a dark base color ( there are some really good artikles in here about just that). But as this is past on this mini I would go for a wash applied only in the recesses and where you\'d see darker color. much as you woud paint a normal shade but with a thinner paint for better control

did some work on the skin tho lol not much has changed by the picture so I\'m gonna try some purple in my shade color give it a lil darker feel but mainly try and give it a cool color hopefully it don\'t end up screwed lol

and I think thats a right onn idea Manus next mini I am definatly going to start dark see if that makes the contrasting easier to achieve and still look good.

heres a lil detail shot that gem on her neclace is the second one I\'ve done lol and that bugger was tiny.

I left the base plain since I have 3 more minis in this lil set figure once they are all done I\'ll make em up a nice lil display.

thanks real bugger is right when I finished lol I dropped her chipped a gash in her thigh and took some toes out but luckily I was able to fill the chip and blend it away it\'s barely noticible in person. I was pretty torqued lol

I think when I get her friends done might be fun to have a medieval strip club have em on a stage and some patrons, drunk dwarves, humans, whatever all drinkin waving money around... but I\'ll have to see if I could find the right girl a birthday dwarf gettin a lap dance would be a hoot but I\'m a lil screwwy
