I like it OK, wished I had managed to kill the decals shine, but I didn't succeed on each and every transfer.Overall, a very enjoyable kit on work on.

Can't promise anything but you may try hitting the decals with a coat of spray clear gloss. Let that dry then try your dull coat.

Have to say, if you hadn't pointed the decal shine out, I'd have never really noticed.
