Custom Rivet Wars Markers

Since I was unfortunate enough to miss the Kickstarter and all the perks that went along with that, I've been working on some custom 3D Rivet Wars markers of my very own.

These are both sculpted by hand in Super Sculpey. I plan on making molds and casting them in resin so I have a bunch of them for my games.

I'm not 100% happy with these as they aren't as "clean" as the original Rivet Wars figures/models, so I'm also going to sculpt some of these in ZBrush and see how much 3D printing them would cost.
Next up for these...paint! :brushlick:

Those look great to me. You wouldn't be willing to do some sculpts for Krosmaster accessories would you?

Thanks. I'm a bit of a perfectionist and the fact that these are hand done and the Rivet Wars stuff is 3D sculpted and much "cleaner" looking than my markers bothers me, but I needed something to do and love the look of the RW stuff and thought these markers would be a good starting point. I'm still going to paint these hand made ones to experiment with colors and such.

As far as the Krosmaster accessories go, I don't have the game but went ahead and ordered it on Amazon just now. What accessories you are wanting specifically?

I love these, thanks for sharing the process of making them! I imagine they'll blend in well once they're painted up!

These have come out really well! The metalic paint has smoothed the finish off and the dirt has some great texture; thanks again for sharing!

Here's a 3D modeled version I'm working on for 3D printing. I want to print one and then make a mold of that and cast some resin copies for myself. The 3D printed version is too expensive to just print a few of those.

I'm happy with the mines, but I will be taking the ground into ZBrush to give it some real texture and shape it better.

Once I'm happy I will do the same thing I did with the hand sculpted ones (paint and base them).

I have been working on my custom strategic objectives and bunkers the last few nights.

I will be posting photos once I get my new Foldio light setup. I think the terrain turned out really good and I want the photos to reflect that.

As far as these go, I decided that the cost of having them 3D printed, then making the molds and casting them wasn't worth it since I will be able to buy these as extras right from CMoN in hard plastic.

I did pickup a copy of Krosmaster Arena (and Super Dungeon Explore) and will be making some custom terrain for those at some point in the not too distant future.

Asatru, I bought the tilepack omega, in addition to blitz level, so i may have a surplus of plastic terrain bits. if so, you have first dibs on them. :)
